All was fine, good parking spot. However wish I'd done more research into parking on surrounding streets which appear to have no limits or restrictions and plenty of spaces.

Don't ignore value added bits like safety and peace of mind. One break in or a deflated tyre would be much more agonising and expensive than the parking fees.
